Moon Beever is an award winning modern law firm, steeped in history and with expertise in a variety of commercial and private practice areas.
The firm was founded by Willie Moon, a Victorian lawyer and businessman, who first began practising law in Lincoln’s Inn Fields in 1851. His successors have practised in and around Bloomsbury Square since this time. His son, also Willie Moon, was not only a mainstay of the firm but also found time to keep goal and captain the England football team!
Historically the firm focused on private client and property matters, acting for many literary and aristocratic characters as befits its location in the heart of London’s literary quarter. Since the mid 1980’s the firm’s position in the commercial arena has been subject of expansion and development, in particular the insolvency and debt recovery spaces, resulting in an enviable reputation within the profession.
Whilst proud of the fact that the firm has provided legal services for a period exceeding 150 years, an ethos of remaining current and a commitment to offering clients a bespoke professional service has continued to secure the firms longevity. Presently, this involves substantial investment in information technology and systems, in addition to an agile approach to the provision of legal services and continuing to deliver expedient results that make commercial sense.
In addition to infrastructure, we continue to place great importance upon investment in people, both in terms of relationships and training, which are considered to be the cornerstone of the firm’s success. Additionally, a working environment is provided, which allows our people to enjoy what they do, in turn this helps us to help you. The Partnership and staff operate in areas of the law at which they are subject matter experts and the firm is committed to the continuing education and development of all personnel.
