The deadline for responses on Court Fees Consultation is 21st January 2014. See https://consult.justice.gov.uk/digital-communications/court-fees-proposals-for-reform

It is important that insolvency (which so often gets forgotten in these reforms) is flagged up and if you are able to write to suggest that court fees be assessed on the recovered amount (rather than claim sum) or that they should be postponed until recovery at least then please write to:

Graeme Cummings
Ministry of Justice
102 Petty France
And
mojfeespolicy@justice.gsi.gov.uk

There is a short survey in the link above but the key thing is those two points at least so that there is enough critical mass to get Insolvency cases looked at. Bear in mind the enhanced fees may mean paying early and UPFRONT £1000 PER DAY for trial.

R3 has written and I have written separately and I have flagged this up at the Chancery Court Users meeting. Please support. I appreciate the deadline is very tight i.e. TUESDAY 21st January, but a short letter or e mail is all that is needed.
