Esat joined the firm’s Property Department in April 2017 and deals with all aspects of property transactions.
He advises on complex property issues, and his practice focuses on structuring acquisitions and sales of real estate including business sales; commercial landlord and tenant matters with particular expertise in the retail, office, hotels and leisure sectors; leasebacks; development agreements (including joint ventures and options), relating to retail, industrial and residential real estate; property finance; property trusts, and property related insolvency and receivership aspects.
Esat acts for a broad range of clients, from the investment sector, portfolios, franchises, developers, private individuals and charities, and he advises on their property affairs, including management, granting and assignment of leases and associated matters.
He also has significant experience acting in residential property transactions, on behalf of large groups of leaseholders seeking to collectively enfranchize and acquire their freehold, lease extensions, and rights to manage.
